Overview

The Problem

There is currently not a process or solution in which Umbrage employees can book a time in any of their four meeting/conference rooms. Google Calendar might work, but they prefer a solution they can control, modify to fit their brand, and meet their internal needs.

The Solution

We created Dibs as a solution to their problem. Dibs provides Umbrage employees and clients with a direct and customizable way to book any Umbrage meeting room at any time. Dibs is available on both desktop and mobile.

Define & Design

Project Kickoff

Every Umbrage project starts with a kickoff meeting. PMs book most. Not knowing what room is booked is #1 complaint and hold up the most work.
These are the three user personas we determined during project kickoff:

1. Umbrage Employees

Meeting with clients, crafts, leadership, or for company event

2. Clients of Umbrage

They should be able to be invited and see the meeting information via Dibs to Google Calendar

3. Umbrage Employees

Future scope should give them admin access to all of Dibs

Stakeholder Requirements

• Only Umbrage employee get access
• Integrate Google Calendar APIs
• Must include the four rooms and their amenities
• Similar functions, features, and input fields as Google Calendar

Product Flow

Every Umbrage project starts with a kickoff meeting.

Solution Wireframes

FindaFan will be a social app that provides an avenue for people to connect and either take that connection offline or stay within the app. To ensure I was focused on my MVP, most of the user flows were focused on finding and messaging a fellow fan.
